Welcome to our Memphis-MidSouth Race for the Cure Survivor Page! The Race for the Cure is a very special celebration of survivors in our community. As a result, we hope that you’ll be reminded how many friends are running beside you every step of the way in this year’s Race for the Cure! Despite the tremendous advances in the medical and scientific fields, sometimes the best therapy is the knowledge that we are not alone in this fight - together we can make a difference!

As a breast cancer survivor, you know the importance of a support system better than anyone. You probably have Co-Survivors family, friends, doctors or colleagues who were sources of support and inspiration during your journey, from diagnosis to treatment. We encourage you to participate in this year’s Race for the Cure and invite your Co-Survivors to participate with you!

We are planning a number of exciting survivor events for this year’s Memphis-MidSouth Race for the Cure at the Shops of Saddle Creek on October 30, 2010.

7:00 am - Survivor Breakfast - at the Survivor Tent

Starting at 7:00 am, the ladies of the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, national sponsors of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure survivor program, will be on hand to serve a special continental breakfast to all registered Race survivors. You can also fill out back signs to recognize yourself and your loved ones while you race.

7:30 am - Survivor Photo

A group photo will be taken of registered Race survivors. Each survivor will receive a free copy of the group photo - while supplies last!

Starting Line Recognition Banners - All Morning 

We are currently having special banners printed where our race participants have elected to recognize their loved ones on our "In Honor Of" and "In Memory Of" banners at the Race Starting Line.

Post Race Entertainment & Awards

The Bouffants will again be providing our post-race entertainment! If you haven't seen them before, it's a must see event! In addition, we will be announcing the winners of our Team Awards, Individual Fundraising Awards, and also Runner awards.
